Sugarmill
Returning home one hot night from Brisbane we passed the Broadwater Mill in full flight in the dark. I have deliberately left the dark areas around the doors to emphasize the unattended power and energy of the working mill.

Tom,
Great site, how do you get the time to do all this?
Presently researching my Caldwell line (on and off). I can go back to Alexander Caldwell & Jean Mcqueen, married 1796 in Kilmarnock. They are my gggggranparents. From my Dad until Alexander, all John Caldwells, including myself. Fortunately, my middle name was used and I'm known as Geoff.
Keep it up.
Regards
Geoff

A survey of surnames shows that Kilmarnock is the location of the greatest density of Caldwells in the UK.
Must be the local equivalent of Smith (smile).
